Initially established in 1992 (formerly Bryan Lawrence Gundry), we provide accounting and taxation services for a range of clients including individuals, partnerships, corporate entities and family businesses, from our offices in Pool, near Redruth, in Cornwall.

Making Tax Digital
Automation will not only streamline tax processes and improve efficiencies, but also enable businesses to adopt better working practices. The new system – which comes into effect in April 2019 – will initially apply to businesses with a turnover above the VAT threshold (currently £90,000).

Sale of Assets
How you report and pay your Capital Gains Tax depends whether you sold a residential property in the UK on or after 6 April 2020. If a property was jointly owned, each owner must tell HMRC about their own gain or loss. You also have to pay any Capital Gains Tax due within the same 60-day period from completion.

IR35
On 17th October 2022, the Government announced that the planned changes due to come into effect from April 2023 were to be reviewed.
The plans are to repeal the Off-payroll working rules (“IR35 Reforms”), which were introduced in 2017 and 2021. The original IR35 rules will remain in place.
